The Blankie

A close friend of mine was chosen to design a room in Kansas City's 41st Annual Designer's Showhouse. I volunteered to make something for her circus themed children's room and she requested a navy blue blanket with an assymetrical white stripe. Here's the product which will be for sale on Etsy...

This blanket is super soft and about 40" x 40". I wanted to make it a square shape so that it could be folded in any direction to highlight the off centered stripe. Here's a link to Katie Dixon's blog about designing her amazing room.

I've been knitting away and just recently finished a beautiful shawl and a super cute slouchy beret. My logo is in the works and I am so excited to see the finished product!

Baby knits!

Here are some photos of my nephews with the things I've made for them. Try not to be too distracted by the adorable models and take notice of my work :) I know, it's difficult!

Baby Evan with the scratch mitts and bootees on the patchwork blanket...

The blanket has held up pretty well! My sister says she uses it everyday...

Jack is growing too fast! He's outgrown his hat...

Thank you, Sister, for the photos!

Coming soon on my Etsy page!

While I'm ironing out the details of my business and creating inventory, everyone can come here to check out my work. For my first ever blog post, I'm featuring photos from my first ever photo shoot of my finished pieces. The scarves below will be for sale when I "open" my Etsy shop - www.knitologie.etsy.com.

*Disclaimer: Please note while viewing the photos that I am the model (another first!) and I'm five feet tall, therefore the scarves may be shorter on others. Photo credit goes to my wonderful boyfriend, Mr. Christopher De Felice.

Feedback is encouraged! Thanks for looking :)

This scarf is my absolute favorite! I just fell in love with this yarn when I found it. All of my favorite colors are randomly scattered throughout this loosely knit scarf.

These last two are my "fave scarf" versions for those who have different favorite colors.
